We often see conferences and expos that have private events running concurrently with the larger conference. These are often special one – off gatherings for select clients, partners, or designated VIPs. While you wouldn’t want to alienate the whole audience by including information on parties or events they are not invited to, it’s imperative invited guests have access to their special events through the mobile event app as well. It can seem tricky and like a slippery slope as an event planner – the last thing you want is anyone to have negative feelings at your event or feel left out.
Using a mobile event app doesn’t have to be a blanket of information that is haphazardly broadcasted for all to view. There are simple solutions to make sure you reach all of the audience and are careful and deliberate in the process. Conbop allows the event organizer to create a separate profile that would include invitation-only event details to make sure your VIPs have the information readily available – information that is only viewable by those with access to that profile.
A great use-case we recently saw was a client that had a Buyer track and a User track. The Buyers are partner suppliers feeding into the same pool of clients as the User attendees. In order to make sure the delegates went to their respective tracks and had access to information that was relevant to their business, they had separate access codes. The information in both event apps was mirrored – aside from the information that was tailored specifically to their attendance. This was all done using Conbop’s all-inclusive event app – it was not treated as a separate event.
Let’s face it – putting on events is a thrilling and challenging job. Helping you juggle all of your duties and producing an excellent is our job. Leverage technology to increase efficiency and ensure a smooth event with a mobile event app.
